Having giniculate neuralgia

This place wants you to give them a $5000 retainer up front before you can make an apt. Weather you have insurance or not. They dont care about people who are poor. Will most likely die from my constant vomiting from microvascular decompression surgery and im only 27 single mom with 2 kids

Non effective treatment

I fell and gave myself a minor concussion. I also got my back while going down. I went to a Mayo doctor who prescribed a drug from the class if drugs I am allergic to. He said it acts differently than the others. My pharmacist flagged it. I tried it anyway, and I am allergic to it. This Dr refuses to give me any medication that would actually help my condition, or give me any pain relief.

Uncaring Dr not taking responsibility for perscribing wrong drug.

Update by user Mar 25, 2017

So everyone will know this is a doctor out of Eau claire and Chippewa Falls.

Original review posted by user Mar 24, 2017
A Dr at Mayo perscribed by mother medicine. My mother is 91. This caused my mother to have high potassuim and landing her in the hospital every 2 weeks. Could have had heart failure. She the gave her I believe, Kalexate so she could *** out the excess potassuim. This went on and on for a couple of months. She even told my mother that is was her fault, that may be it was just her body and she should go home and lay down and not take any treatment if she had another episode, This could have killed my mother by stopping her heart. The medicine she prescribe my mother was potassuim, This doctor didn't even know what she was prescribing for my mother. Kalexate and Potassuim ?????? She would take no responsbility for this. But she was the prescribing Dr. This Dr should be ashame of herself. Now after finding out the cause my mother is pretty good health except for ostestoarthris pain. This doctor need to consider another line of work. She is a menace to her patients.

Mayo Doctors are trained to defensively (deceptively) chart, lie, and cheat if they have to and NEVER admit guilt even if that means compromising patient safety.

The Mayo image is all that matters more than any patient, and they will go to great lengths from preventing even one lawsuit story to get out to keep the cash flowing in.

In December 2016, my husband had lung cancer surgery at Mayo paid for by Medicare and our supplemental policy. Supplemental only pays if Medicare does. In January 2016, I was also tested at Mayo and Medicare and supplemental paid.

Mayo accepted those insurances without question and have never asked us for more.

Mayo Clinic - Hepatology Doctor Review

I came from Mississippi to the hepatology department at Mayo Clinic in Arizona for help. A 6.1 cm tumor and two other sizable tumors. A year before the tumors was a lot smaller. CT done at another hospital. Thinking I was coming to the best for a treatment was my mistake. I have watched my stomach grow considerably in a years time. My liver is in Enlarged. The pain has become tremendous over that length of time. I had an appointment with the assistant professor Dr. Byrne in Hepatology. I was expecting to get a CT guided biopsy. He sit there for an hour trying to convince me why I should not have a biopsy. He did a MRI and a colonoscopy and said he was finished. The final phone call was on March 6, 2017 and he totally disregarded my pain and the danger of things growing in my liver. Dr. Byrne will not put it in writing that he is finished. He is playing games with my life. He simply make notes he advised me about pain. I will be dead in a years time. The stress on my body from my liver has caused me to have A fib and shortness of breath. I also have gastroparesis and other health issues. He did not address any of my other issues. Mayo does not have proper complaint department. It's all about protecting their doctors. I tried to call Dr. Noseworthy in Minnesota. No one at Mayo with any Authority wants to hear a complaint. The liver is very forgiving. You can take part of it out and still live a normal life. This doctor was part of the transplant department. Knowing I am going to die from this liver issue that was totally unaddressed at Mayo Clinic! I'm packing my bags tomorrow to go home knowing my liver is going to rupture or something bad is going to happen. I am telling you that Mayo has my blood on their hands. The executives at Mayo could care less about my liver. I would advise everyone to make a different decision then going to this clinic. Mayo clinic is overrated!

Mayo Clinic - Medical Care Review

I had a very bad experience with the mayo clinic .I am an international patient who flew in from India .They are quick to ask u to register and pay money but no one to help us at the international desk.poor communication and coordination .As a doctor myself I have never seen such poor medical care , they would order the tests for the specialist to review but the appointment was before the test results came out . Absolute waste of time and money .Im very disappointed with the standard of the hospital.I will never come back here!

Yeah, I would have gone to Japan or Australia instead. Better outcomes and lower costs.

Plus, they know the science of natural treatments that are much safer. Mayo works for the drug companies and is more concerned about cashflow and creating jobs from suffering.

#1305037

Now you know why so many other countries have better outcomes at lower costs than the US. The Mayo way is not a good model. Best of luck.

Mayo Clinic - Neurology Doctor Review

Went to Mayo clinic and was very disappointed. I have an autoimmune disease that is affecting my nervous system. After many many tests and doctors appointments the only caring one was a cardiologist. The neurologist that is impossible to see was rude and uncaring. After telling him i couldnt tolerate the meds he told me he was done with me. Even after i was severely ill he refused to see or talk to me. They racked up over $6000 in bills which i have been paying $50 per month for, for the past two years. Now they told me that if i dont pay 10% it is sent to collections. Called collections and they refused the $50 per month and said Mayo wont take that small monthly payment. At least i am trying to pay and i have numerous other bills from being sick. What kind of hospital treats sick patients this way????

Mayo sucks. I think they had their mind made up what I "had" (or didn't have) before I even arrived! Neurology report said that the doctor felt I didn't put forth any effort on muscle strength testing (which probably means he thinks it's "all in my head"). Then when I...

Same thing happened with me. I expected more from the "experts" when I traveled to Minnesota.

However, I am closer to a diagnosis, but it was not the one I was given there. I was treated with respect by some doctors and healthcare workers and others treated me like I was there for disability. I have a high paying job.

It was not my plan in going there. I had to challenge the doctor and not settle with what I was told and to do so I had to educate myself about medical diagnosis.

Good luck getting medical records changed. You need to prove with a lawyer that the said information is not correct for that day which is near impossible unless you have a recording of the conversation.
